He has proven his calibre as an actor, director, singer and script writer. There is no wonder about Vineeth's talent as he is the son of actor and script writer Sreenivasan, the man who has contributed a lot to the Malayalam cinema.
Vineeth started off his career as a singer. He rose to fame with his album Coffee @ MG Road. But things changed after he made his debut as an actor in 2008 with the movie Cycle. He was awarded the Asianet Award for the Best New face for the year for that film. Bhama played opposite him in Cycle.
Makante Achan was his second movie. His father Sreenivasan played the role of his father in this movie. People accepted them onscreen too. They shared a good chemistry as son and father in this film. Both of them were applauded for their performances in the film.
Chappa Kurishu was his next movie. Fahad Fazil, Remya Nambeesan and Roma played along with him in this movie. The movie did throw light on problems prevailing in the society. Padmashree Bharat Dr Saroj Kumar also had Vineeth and his father playing the role of father and son onscreen. His upcoming movie is Koothara . Mohanlal, Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne and Manu are also seen along with him in this film.

Vineeth was born to actor Sreenivasan and Vimala Sreenivasan. Vineeth married his college friend Divya Narayanan on 18 October 2012, after an eight-year-long relationship. She was his junior at KCG College of Technology in Chennai.
They got married after the release of his directorial venture Thattathin Marayathu, the movie which gave a sensational pair - Nivin Pauly and Isha Talwar.He is celebrating his 28th birthday today (October 1).
